This summer is gonna be busy. Very busy.
I joined a local home school group last week and it looks like that will probably give us 3 regular meetings a week, one is a park playdate and two of them are a class one of the moms is going to run called "Play with a Purpose" It's geared towards kids 3-7 and will focus on sports and games. It should be very fun, Gracie will love it and Ian will be able to participate as much as he wants also! So that will fill our Tuesday and Thursday mornings and our Friday afternoons.
Gracie is taking karate this summer, that meets twice weekly, Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
Ian is going to take swimming lessons for the month of July, they will meet twice a week in the evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I am taking 3 members of my LaLeche League group through the process of becoming a leader. We are meeting bi-weekly on Wednesdays through the end of August. We may finish before then but I have us scheduled until then, just in case. We also have our regular LLL meeting on the 3rd Friday of every month.
A new Attachment Parenting International group is starting this month here in Parker and that will meet the 4th Friday of every month. I am going to be working on my accreditation to become a leader for API.
I am going away for a vacation all my own June 20-22. I am going to hang with my girls and we are gonna have a blast. I am also going to be terrified something will happen to my family while I am too far away to do anything about it. James will get a chance to be full time parent for 2 and 1/2 days. It will be good for him and for the kids.
Sunday July 20th James and I head to an all day music festival here in Denver. It should be awesome, John Mayer and Dave Matthews will be the final acts of the night!
So, all this plus random play dates, birthdays, parties, get-togethers, holidays, etc....... should make our summer a bit busy. Oh, and James is still in school, no breaks til the end of August. Oh, and we have our foster work with the retriever rescue too, right now we have a big brown lab mix named Brynn keeping us on our toes.
Here's a few photos, just to round out the post!
