Ian’s 4th Birthday Party

We had Ian’s party this past Sunday.  This year is an even year, meaning the kids don’t get a big party.  We are keeping that to an every other year thing, otherwise it’s just too much.  So Ian had his choice of one friend (and family) to join us and he choose D.  So we his family along with Grandma and Grandpa to Chuck E Cheese for pizza, play and cake!

I need one of these for home!IMG_6462

In the tunnels on the ceiling.

The Grandparents and the dad.

A table full of craziness!!  This was the best picture I got!

The rollercoaster ride.  The kids rode this 4 times and almost made poor Heather puke!!

They loved it though!

Gracie the future jockey and Ian the future race car driver.

And again this year Ian plugged his ears for the singing of Happy Birthday.  He hates that song, for real!!

Gracie helping open presents.  Ian asked her too.  He doesn’t like to do much for himself if he can get a willing person to do it for him!

Ian about died when he opened this and insisted we put it together immediately.  He’s been wearing it a lot since Sunday, it’s pretty hilarious, he looks like umpaloompa meets storm trooper when he has it on.

Christmas 2009

Christmas Eve we hit the mall for our traditional trip to Build A Bear.  We also took in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.  Christmas Day started out early with Gracie up a little after 6.  We waited for Ian to wake up at 7:15 and then let the kids tear in.  Favorite presents of the morning:  Snuggies, Wii, and Leapsters.  Then we headed up to Loveland and had a repeat of the morning with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Andy.  The kids really scored some amazing stuff, they made out this year!!!  Ian’s favorite was his purple light saber with spring action and Gracie was terribly excited to get a nutcracker like the one in the ballet.  It was a wonderful day!

Sunset walk at the dog park

On Sunday we headed over to Cherry Creek to the dog park.  It was Molly’s first trip to a dog park!  She did really well, she was a little nervous of other dogs but she warmed up to the whole thing pretty quickly!  It was a beautiful warm afternoon and we all had a great time.

Christmas Stockings

I got stockings at Target last year on clearance.  We had our names embroidered on them last week  and then we picked up a small shelf for them to hang from.   They really complete the holiday spirit in our house!

The Gap

Last Thursday the gap in Gracie’s mouth got a little bit bigger!

First Lost Tooth

I’m playing catch up with some posts!  Sorry!!!

Gracie lost her first tooth on December 3rd.  It was the bottom front left tooth.  The right one is almost ready to come out too, soon she’ll have quite the toothless smile!!

She was super excited but I didn’t get any good pictures of that.  This picture is hilarious and she looks kind of freaked out.  I’m not sure why, but it is what it is, the moment forever captured!

Look, it’s a huge hole where her tooth use to be!!

A new smile sans one tooth!

Thanksgiving Day Pictures

I knew I had some pictures from Thanksgiving Day but I couldn’t find them.  Today I found them, yay!!

Thanksgiving day was beautiful here so Heather and I took the kids to the park after we had dinner.   They ran and played and in general pooped their grandma out!

This is Daisy, Andy’s dog and Maggie hanging out in the back yard.  Maggie had a blast rolling in the small patches of snow that were left.
