It’s been almost a whole month since I last posted!!!

And believe me, it’s not that nothing is going on.

The kids are back swimming, they are in their second session for the year already.  They are both doing great, Ian is a Guppy and Gracie is a Flipper.  Coach Dave is great as always.  I’m hopeful this spring will be when Ian crosses over into actually swimming.  So far it’s just a lot of getting wet!

I’m still babysitting.  Perhaps not for long though.  I just don’t think I’m cut out for watching other peoples kids anymore!!!  It’s hard to divide myself so much and I’m feeling pretty guilty for not being as present with my own two as I need to be.  And I feel we are missing a lot of learning opportunities because having two little ones really becomes like an ankle weight.  They need to be home to nap, baby needs bottles, there’s diapers and strollers and crap to haul everywhere.  Reminds me why we decided to stop at 2!!!

James got a promotion at work and we are thankful.  It seems it is maybe just a title change and a raise which isn’t really what he wants in the long term, but it’s something.  The raise was especially nice, he hasn’t had a good one in a couple years because of the economy.   He graduates his MBA on May 8th and we are so excited for that.  He’s only a class and a half away from being done forever.  Yay!!!

Otherwise life is just life.  Nothing too out of the ordinary is going on.  We’ve had some stuffy noses and sore throats, the weather has been fairly nice for January, and I am more than ready to move to a bigger house.  Hopefully we’ll be making plans for that later this spring.  Maggie has had ear infections that I think we finally cleared up.  Singa has developed an unusual infatuation with the humidifier and loves knocking it down.  I’m trying to plan a vacation for our family immediately following James graduation.   So yeah, just general life stuff going on!

Hey Alice! Long time no talk to! Sounds like you guys have been busy, and struggling with some sickness, huh? That's no fun! I'm glad the kids are enjoying their swim classes. You'll have to shoot some video of them and upload it or something. Tell the kids we said hey and that we love them! Talk to you soon!

I'm glad that yu are all doing better with the sickness. Ian is still reserved in the swimming class, eh. Like dad!I can't get over how much he has grown, no more baby weight, he weighs a ton for his grandma, i tried to lift him, yikes. The 4 year must be a large turning point. Hi to them both. have a good week!
